One of my all-time favorite guilty pleasures is a delicious cheeseburger. Well, there is a spot in the hills of Oakland called Patty's & Buns Burgers. One of my all-time favorites...Mushroom Swiss. From the presentation, to the first bite, to the last morsel, It was absolutely delicious. Two juicy patties, Swiss cheese slow sliding off the burger, delicious sautéed mushrooms, crispy white onion, pickle, butter lettuce and juicy ripe tomato. Yummy!! Be sure to get lots of napkins because you will need them; It's that juicy, and defiantly add tater tots.. just the right amount of crunch. Oh, and I may or may not have had a delicious thick cookies, and cream shake. So what I'm telling you is..if you're ever craving a really good burger / cheeseburger, or if you're ever stuck in traffic on interstate 13/Warren Freeway, exit off Joaquin Miller Road to Patty's & Buns Burgers. I promise you it will be worth it!
I don't go here often but when I do (which I did today and about 2 months ago) it is always really good and the person who takes my order is always super friendly. Everbody likes something different in my family so I get tator tots, fries, and sweet potato fries - and they are all delicious - perfectly fried. Their burgers and chicken sandwiches also pretty darn good! I go between 12-4 and the folks working during that time are fantastic!

Got their classic and Diablo burger along with the garlic tater tots and onion rings to go. Everything was delicious and came with some generous sauces. Next time with try to come in for breakfast.
We have been here several times and had scrumptious lunches. My lunch buddy (aka Hubby) had the lunch special; charbroiled burger with American cheese, carmelized onions, hot fries and a soda. I usually get the charbroiled chicken sandwich but yesterday, I tried their breakfast burger, it was tasty, juicy and very flavorful. It's my new favorite now. Loved the avocado, cheese, linguisa sausage, bacon and other fixin's. My fingers somehow snuck into the fries. Place your order @ the counter and the meal gets delivered to your table. There's outdoor seating on a nice day. BONUS: there's complimentary parking next door. Two televisions for your viewing pleasure. Indoor ambiance is casual industrial.

Try their new breakfast!! I've had the burrito and the chorizo breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel. Both were phenomenal.
I had a classic cheeseburger, and fries. All ingredients was fresh, service was good. I will go back to try other items.
Good service and great burgers! I had the black and blue never with tater tots, my wife had the party melt and nephew had a bacon cheeseburger all very good. We will definitely be back soon!
